Code of ethics

Rules of ethical conduct in relation to:

  • Employees:
    • Employer:
      • Sets the rules according to individual job positions.
      • Defines the rights and obligations that apply to workers.
      • Properly familiarizes his employees with the rules of his company.
  • Employer:

      • In the performance of their functions, they always serve the interests of the company and refrain from actions that would or could jeopardize the credibility and seriousness of the company.
      • When performing his/her job duties, he/she respects the powers and hierarchical position of his/her co-workers.
      • In all situations, he/she behaves decently and correctly, acting only within his/her powers and responsibilities.
      • On principle, he/she does not disclose any company information outside the company and, in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Regulations, adheres to the principles of protection of company secrets.
      • Refrain from any action that would lead to a conflict between the company's interest and its private interest.
      • Respects the principle of loyalty, does not speak derogatorily or offensively about the company.
      • Respects the internal rules set by the company's methodology.
      • By their behaviour and behaviour, they present the good name of the company to the public.
      • Declares that it accepts the Code of Ethics as a binding document that sets out fundamental standards of conduct in the production process.
  • To co-workers
    • Employee:
      • Respects the rights and obligations arising from their job position.
      • He does not act superior to his co-workers.
      • Work problems are solved in a work team and are governed by mutual agreements and arrangements within the work team.
      • Demonstrates tolerance towards his/her co-workers in the event of a new employee joining or in the event of an employee returning after a long-term absence.
      • He/she uses his/her knowledge and experience to help and support his/her co-workers, showing willingness to cooperate within the necessary replacements.
      • Maintains confidentiality about information that affects the privacy of its co-workers.
  • To the Client
    • Employee:
      • Is a bearer of corporate culture in his/her work and is therefore obliged to act directly, correctly and with regard to the maximum possible degree of ensuring customer requirements.
      • If he/she is unable to resolve the situation at the client's premises on his/her own (due to doubts, ambiguities, competence or authority), he/she is obliged to escalate this matter to his/her superior and inform the customer of this step.
      • Handles the customer's property in such a way that it is not lost or damaged.
      • They always respect the principles of decent behaviour.
    • Employer:
      • They follow the agreed customer requirements, ensuring their transfer within their company.
  • Environmental protection
    • Employee:
      • Respects and complies with waste management requirements.
      • Observe the established procedures, do not waste materials and energy (do not leave machines and equipment switched on outside of work performance, etc.).
      • Alerts superiors to all cases of energy waste or energy savings.
      • Maintains order in the workplace, respects places for storing materials, pays attention to its protection, e.g. from climatic influences, etc.
    • Employer:
      • Ensures a suitable working environment according to individual work activities.
      • It sets rules related to the environment.
  • Compliance with the principles of occupational safety
    • Employee:
      • Strictly adheres to the designated places of work, does not move involuntarily in other areas.
      • Consistently adheres to the specified work procedures and materials.
      • Consistently use, care for and use specified protective equipment only if its current condition meets health and safety requirements.
      • Work only with machines and equipment for which they are suitably qualified.
      • Alerts supervisors to any unforeseen risks encountered in the workplace and interrupts work performance until they are minimized.
    • Employer:
      • Defines the rules for the use of protective equipment, workplaces, machinery and equipment.
      • Provides work aids, clothing and footwear according to internal rules for its employees.
      • Ensures appropriate qualifications for their use.
  • Work performance
    • Employee:
      • He/she is obliged to maintain order at all workplaces with regard to the work performance to be performed.
      • After finishing work, the employee is obliged to store used tools and tools in the designated place, and to dispose of leftovers and waste in appropriate waste containers.
      • In the event that any work tool or equipment is damaged during the course of work, the employee is obliged to clearly mark this tool/device (e.g. DO NOT USE or OUT of ORDER) and report the situation to the responsible employee.)
      • Must not leave the workplace after the end of work without ensuring proper cleaning, as it could cause a risk of personal injury, damage to production equipment, or even its destruction.
      • If they cause any problems by their negligence, whether during the work itself or when cleaning the workplace, they bear full responsibility for their actions, including the consequences of such actions.
  • Organ discipline
    • Employee:
      • They are obliged to use assigned clothing with regard to specific work performance, including work shoes.
      • If an employee is to participate in negotiations with a customer at a level higher than his/her normal work performance, he/she is obliged to adapt his/her clothing and overall image to the level of this behaviour.
  • Compliance with the Code, standards and provisions and their verification
    • Employer:
      • Compliance with the above rules is checked by the company's management or its authorized persons or organizations and customers or persons authorized by them (e.g. auditors, etc.).
      • The conclusions of the inspections carried out are binding for the company management and are the basis for the evaluation of individual employees, further improvement of the company's activities and customer services.
      • Information on ensuring the environment and occupational safety is provided by the director of CHS, a.s. on request.
